Baseball is one of the ball sports. It is an offensive and defensive game based on racket hitting. In 1839, the first baseball game was played in New York. The most senior baseball organization is the International Baseball Federation, established in 1938.

The game of hitting the ball with a bat against offense and defense is loved by many people.

Basic skills in baseball:

1. Catch the ball.

Pay close attention to the direction of the incoming ball, and have a cushioning action with both hands to prevent the ball from bouncing and falling.

2. Pitch.

The throw is the same as the pass, with the front foot pointed at the target and a flick of the wrist when throwing the ball. Hold the ball with your index, middle and thumb. When done, the follow-up actions should be done.

At the end of the baseball throw, your arm should point toward the thrower.

3. Learn to hit the ball.

The hardest part of baseball is hitting the ball, putting most of your weight on your back foot and then taking a small step forward when you're ready to hit the ball.

You should try to swing horizontally and make sure your arms are fully extended. Watch the ball and keep hitting until you see it making contact with the bat, or the ball is hit, trying to hit it out.

4. Learn to run.

After hitting the ball, use the power of your swing to take a quick first step and run along the running line to first base. Once you reach first base safely, you may cross home plate, but you should return immediately.

If you hit a home run, you don't have to run.

Baseball game rules.

The batsman and the glove-wearing team are not on the same team. The batter is the attacking team and the glove-wearing team is the defending team.

The batter must run four bases counterclockwise at a time (called a run) from the time the batter hits the ball to the time he picks up the ball, then returns to home plate for 1 run.

If it's in the middle of the run and not on base and the ball is returned, you're out. The batsman conceded 3 outs and threw a bad pitch 4 times, sending the batter straight to first base.

Prohibited conduct:

1. Attacking opposing players, referees or spectators with inappropriate language.

2. Calling "time out" or using other language or certain actions to interfere with the pitcher during defensive activities in an attempt to cause the pitcher to commit a foul.

3. Fielders shall not stand in a position that obstructs the batsman's sight, and shall not intentionally interfere with the batsman in an unsportsmanlike manner.

4. Touching the referee's body, talking to the referee or showing intimacy.

5. Acts that incite the audience.

Baseball is a very interesting sport and you should definitely try it if you have the chance.
