On August 11th, the San Antonio Spurs' top draft pick, Victor Wembanyama, has his player ratings revealed for NBA 2K24.

Many have sung praises of Wembanyama's talent, believing he could revolutionize basketball and alter the game as a whole. Nevertheless, his appearance raises genuine concerns about his adaptation to the NBA, a league brimming with talented beasts and intense competition.

His ability to adjust and endure potential injuries remains unknown.

Moreover, even if he overcomes physical and confrontational challenges, his current offensive repertoire is rather limited. He lacks a standout scoring skill that would make him an unstoppable force on the professional court.

His current performance often gives the impression that scoring is handed to him on a silver platter. This is because he lacks substantial offensive capabilities beyond open shots and minimal physical confrontations.

When compared to the prowess of the Spurs' previous savior, Timothy Theodore Duncan, when he entered the league in 1997, Wembanyama currently falls considerably short.
