A wide hillside, suddenly like a giant axe split general, there is a high ten of meters or even hundreds of meters of cliffs, cliffs are endless blue sea, such a scene, do you have an impulse to jump?

It is said that the White Cliffs are the most visible view of England from the European continent, so the White Cliffs are now regarded as the symbol of England.

There are more than one White Cliffs in the UK, the most famous being the White Cliffs of Dover, which feature in Shakespeare's King Lear. Another white cliff, Beachy Head, is said to be so beautiful that it ranks behind the Golden Gate Bridge in the United States and Aokigahara in Japan. Then there's the Seven Sisters Cliff. Named for its seven consecutive, rolling white cliffs.

1. White Cliffs of Dover

The White Cliffs of Dover, located in the town of Dover, Kent, England, stretch for ten miles on either side of Dover along the English Channel. It is one of the most famous natural attractions in Britain. The chalk layer of the white cliffs is about 250 meters deep and took at least 16 million years to deposit. It is also Britain's closest point to the continent, with the shortest distance being only thirty-two kilometers.

The White Cliffs of Dover have become a symbol of Britain. It is the last memory of people saying goodbye to Great Britain, and also the first impression of Britain in the minds of tourists who come here. The beauty of the White Cliffs of Dover lies in their sheer naturalness, which is best appreciated from the sea by boat.

2. Beachy Head, Eastbourne

The town of Eastbourne is ten kilometers west of the road to Beachy Head, Britain's highest sea-facing cliff. Beachy Head is the highest of the white cliffs in England. At about 160 meters, it overlooks the English Channel. At Beachy Head, there is a lighthouse about 40 meters high to guide lost ships.

3. Seven Sisters

The Seven Sisters, in Seaford, not far from Brighton, is named for the seven chalk cliffs that jut out from each other. Facing the English Channel and facing France, it stood up on the shore like a sudden wall, born out of nowhere and magnificent, or in the sea or on the sand, with a series of twists and turns, up and down.

The Seven Sisters White Cliff is the highest point in the entire White Cliff belt, reaching 152 meters at its highest point. Standing on the high cliff top to the distance, as if to the ends of the earth, the end of the world.

4. Old Harry Rocks

The white cliffs are also visible along the famous Jurassic Coastline. Old Harley Rock at the eastern end of the coastline is not to be missed. The Old Harryrock consists of a sea stack and a sea stack remnant, both formed during the Cretaceous period.

Since it is a sea erosion terrain, the current sea stacks will eventually disappear, but new sea stacks will also be created, although it will take a long time.
