Hey Lykkers, ready for a new adventure along the stunning French Riviera? We’ve discovered the charming town of Antibes, filled with sun, sea, and hidden gems that we can’t wait to share with you.

Let’s dive into some incredible spots that will leave you dreaming of this beautiful coastal town!

Strolling Through the Old Town: The Heart of Antibes

We began our journey in Old Town Antibes—a maze of narrow, cobbled streets where every corner hides a surprise. Walking through the colorful market stalls at the Marché Provençal, we couldn’t resist sampling local cheeses and fresh olives. The vibrant energy and local craftsmanship made us feel like we were part of the town's rhythm. The market is open daily from 6 AM to 1 PM, and it's a must-visit for food lovers! Exploring this lively marketplace was the perfect way to soak in the essence of Antibes.

Picasso Museum: Art with a Sea View

Our next stop was the Picasso Museum, set in the stunning Château Grimaldi with views overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean. We wandered through galleries filled with the master’s works, reflecting his time spent in Antibes. The blend of art and sea breeze created an unforgettable atmosphere. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and tickets are €8 for adults. This spot is perfect for art enthusiasts and those looking to combine history with coastal beauty.

Relaxing at Plage de la Garoupe: Antibes’ Best Beach

We couldn’t resist a day of relaxation at Plage de la Garoupe, one of the most scenic beaches in Antibes. With soft sand beneath our feet and the sound of waves gently crashing, it was the perfect spot to unwind. We rented sun loungers and spent the afternoon basking in the sun. The beach is open year-round, and while entry is free, renting a sunbed costs around €20 for the day. It’s the ideal way to experience the Côte d'Azur’s legendary beaches!

Practical Travel Tips for Antibes

Getting around Antibes was easy, thanks to its well-connected bus and train system. We recommend getting a multi-day bus pass if you plan to explore nearby towns like Nice or Cannes. While strolling through the Old Town, don’t forget to try the local specialty, socca, a savory chickpea pancake that’s a real treat. Antibes also enjoys sunny weather most of the year, so pack light but bring a hat and sunscreen for protection.

Antibes is full of sunshine, art, and relaxation, Lykkers, and we hope this inspires your next trip! Where should we explore together next?
