Macau Tower is located in Lot 1, Zone D, Nanwan New Reclamation Area, covering an area of ​​13,363 square meters. The Macau Tower is a famous large-scale tourist facility in the Macau Special Administrative Region and a new landmark building in Macau.

The total cost of the tower is 1 billion patacas. After three years of construction, it was completed and unveiled on December 19, 2001, and officially received tourists.

Macau Tower integrates sightseeing, conferences and entertainment. It is one of the top ten sightseeing towers in the world.

As a sightseeing tower, it is the eighth tallest tower in the world. It is also the tallest sightseeing steel tower in Southeast Asia, surpassing the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

From the ground to the highest point, the total height is 338 meters, 1109 feet (56 floors).

The main observation layer is 223 meters above the ground and 732 feet high. It is the tenth largest free-standing observation tower in the world and a member of the World Federation of High Towers.

Development History:

In the 1990s, Stanley Ho, Managing Director of Macau Tourism and Entertainment Co., Ltd., visited Auckland, the former capital of New Zealand, and was deeply impressed by the city's Sky Tower.

After returning to Macau, he decided to build a similar tower in Macau, so he invited the famous New Zealand architect Gordon Moller to design it.

The construction of the Macau Tower started in 1998 and was officially opened on December 19, 2001.

Since June 2001, Macau Tower has cooperated with AJ Hackett to launch the world's tallest skydive (SKYJUMP), creating the Guinness World Record for the "world's highest commercial deceleration jump" for the tower.

On December 17, 2006, AJ Hackett launched the world's tallest commercial bungee jumping at the Macau Tower, and at the same time set up "the tallest building bungee jumping" and "the world's tallest commercial bungee jumping facility" for the tourist tower. Created two Guinness World Records.

The participants jumped from a height of 233 meters, but within 20 seconds, they jumped at a speed of 75 kilometers per hour. They can experience the leap in the air, which is very exciting.

There is a large revolving restaurant on the top floor of the observation tower, overlooking the Australian scenery.

Standing on the viewing platform of the tower, you can have a panoramic view of Macau and Zhuhai, and you can also see Lantau Island in Hong Kong on a sunny day.
